Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections
JDEP (Jurnal Dinamika Ekonomi Pembangunan) welcomes scholarly discussion of its published articles and addresses errors or concerns to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
Comments and Discussion
Readers may submit comments, questions, or critiques through the journal’s Contact page. Contributions must be relevant, evidence-based, and respectful.
The editor may forward substantive comments to the corresponding author and invite a response. Where a discussion makes a meaningful scholarly contribution, JDEP may publish a Letter to the Editor or commentary together with the authors’ reply, subject to editorial assessment.
Concerns About Published Articles
Concerns involving possible plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, undisclosed conflicts of interest, or authorship problems are assessed under JDEP’s Allegations of Misconduct policy.
The journal will assess the evidence confidentially, provide relevant parties with an opportunity to respond, and contact institutions or other responsible bodies where appropriate.
Post-Publication Notices
Depending on the evidence and its implications, JDEP may issue:
- Correction: when an error or omission affects a limited part of the article while its overall findings remain reliable. Corrections may address author or publisher errors, attribution, or relevant disclosures.
- Expression of Concern: when substantial concerns remain unresolved because evidence is inconclusive, an investigation is ongoing or delayed, or a satisfactory investigation cannot be obtained.
- Retraction: when findings are unreliable or serious ethical or publication problems warrant retraction, as described in the Withdrawal and Retraction Policy.
Notices will be freely accessible, identify the affected article, explain the action, and remain linked to the original publication. Retracted articles will ordinarily remain available and be clearly marked “Retracted.”
Version of Record
Substantive changes to published articles will not be made silently. Corrections will be documented through a linked notice, and any updated version will clearly indicate the changes. Relevant article metadata and DOI records will be updated where applicable.
Minor typographical or formatting changes that do not affect meaning may be made without a separate correction notice.
Author Responsibility
Authors who discover a significant error in their published work must promptly notify the editorial office and cooperate in assessing the issue and preparing an appropriate correction or retraction.
